How To Create A Trunk-or-treat Graveyard

Halloween is almost here, folks, and here at Performance Ford Lincoln Bountiful our team wants to show off our creative skills by turning the trunk of our car into a graveyard.

What you will need:

  • Styrofoam
  • Markers
  • Car-Safe Glue
  • Tape
  • Fake Spider Webs
  • Poster Board

Now that we have all our supplies, let's get to work. Cut the tops of the Styrofoam in arches to look like a tombstone, write R.I.P. on them with markers, then glue them on top of the vehicle or prop them up against the bumper on the ground or within the trunk. Be sure you choose glue that is safe for your vehicle's paint.

Next, draw a moon and stars on poster boards, color the moon yellow, then cut them out, and tape them to the inside of the trunk.

Finish by using tape to hold up the fake spider webs, then position your candy in a dish inside of the trunk so people need to go up to the graveyard to get their treats.

If you are opening your trunk for younger children, consider a more tame approach, like the one in the video below. Happy Halloween everyone!
