The Lincoln Corsair is a relatively new entry in the world of ultra-luxury crossovers but it has managed to make a good name for itself in this short time. The Corsair is meant to be a plush CUV that is practical and reliable. To find out how good it is, the following is a review of the 2022 Lincoln Corsair:

Features

The 2022 Lincoln Corsair is in its 1st generation and is one of the most exclusive CUVs today. It offers 3 trim levels and engine options. The latter also includes a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Corsair comes loaded with attractive interior options and amenities. This year’s model sees some changes in the form of equipment packages.

Powertrain and Numberss

The Lincoln Corsair 2022 is offered with a 2-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine as standard. This produces 250 hp and 280 lb-ft. You can also get a 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder that adds 45 more hp to the car.
The transmission is an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The standard system is front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive is optional.
You can also get the PHEV Corsair which has a 2.5-liter engine mated to an electric motor. The power output is 266 hp and the gearbox is an eCVT. All-wheel drive is standard here.
Equip this vehicle right, and you’ll be able to achieve a 0-60 mph time of around 6 seconds, which is pretty good overall and great for the compact luxury CUV category.
While this is quite a sophisticated vehicle, it should have no problems getting its hands dirty if you want to go trailering. The Corsair 2022 has a maximum towing capacity of around 3000 lbs. no matter which powertrain setup you pick.
The highest fuel economy achievable by the nonhybrid Corsair is 22 mpg in the city, and 29 mpg on the highway. This is if you opt for the base engine with the FWD configuration; with AWD, it does a similar 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. The bigger engine does 21 city; 28 highway.
As you can see, there isn’t much of a difference in these numbers. If you do want the very best fuel savings, you can always get the PHEV. It will do up to 78 MPGe combined.

Interior and Technology

The 2022 Lincoln Corsair has a cabin that’s a sight for sore eyes. As you’d expect from a premium brand, the interior is full of high-quality materials and the build quality is solid. Despite this being a compact CUV, it gives all 5 occupants good legroom and headroom.
But the Lincoln Corsair is more than just a pretty face as it is quite functional as well. The in-cabin storage capabilities are great and the cargo space in the trunk is one of the best in the class.

You get Lincoln’s soft-touch seats throughout the vehicle. The front seats have power adjustments (the driver even receives a memory function) and they are heated as well. The second-row seats can also slide according to your needs.
For the infotainment, you receive a massive 13.2-inch touchscreen. It is connected to a premium sound system that contains 10 speakers and a subwoofer. Other than that, you get voice recognition and some USB ports for connectivity.
This car is loaded with standard safety features. These include automated emergency braking (w/pedestrian detection), lane-departure warning (w/lane-keeping assist), adaptive cruise control, blind-spot information (w/rear crosstraffic alerts), a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and more.

2022 Corsair Reserve

This variant allows you to tailor this car to your needs even further. It gives you the option to choose from a variety of interior trims made of high-end materials. You get ambient lighting, leather seats, a hands-free liftgate, satellite navigation, voice-activated navigation, a frameless rearview mirror, and some changes to the outside.

2022 Corsair Grand Touring

The major upgrade to this car is the highly efficient hybrid powertrain. You also get some changes on the inside such as a charge port door and an audible vehicle warning system. There are some exterior changes as well.

Exterior and Driving

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator definitely looks like how a sophisticated luxury SUV should be. The stylings make it stand out wherever it goes and you get a choice of large wheels to put on it. The Black Label and the Black Label Grand Touring are different with their unique accents, plus their dark front grille and wheels.

Reliability and Warranty

In case things go south, you can be sure that you’re protected since this vehicle has one of the best warranties amongst its luxury car rivals. Lincoln will cover it for 4 years/50k miles and they’ll also provide a powertrain warranty if 6 years/70k miles.
