2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium Review
The Ford Mustang Mach-E was meant to be an electric crossover vehicle based on the Mustang pony car. However, it has managed to create its very own hype thanks to its functionality and driveability. Below is a review of one of its most popular trims, the 2023 Mach-E Premium:
Powertrain and Numbers
The 2023 Mach-E Premium offers a choice of two battery packs. The first is the standard 70 kWh that gets you a range of up to 250 miles. The second is the 91 kWh battery pack that gets you up to 310 miles. Rear-wheel drive is standard and electronic all-wheel drive is optional.
The horsepower exists in the 266-480 hp range while the torque is offered in the 317-634 lb-ft range based on what you pick. 0 to 62 mph is achievable in around 4.8 seconds with the bigger battery, and 6.3 seconds with the standard battery pack. Both are excellent numbers.
Interior
The 2023 Mach-E Premium features an attractive interior design that oozes high quality and comfort. It has a premium vibe to it and it’s quite practical as well. You have two trunks (one of them is a frunk) along with adequate cubby storage.
The Mach-E Premium has many features including push-button ignition, keyless entry, a 10.2-inch instrumentation screen, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and ActiveX seats. The front seats are heated and so is the steering wheel. There’s also wireless charging for your phone.
You also get ambient mood lighting, and memory settings on the driver’s seat. Then you have the infotainment system that’s centered around a vertical 15.5-inch touchscreen mated to a premium 10-speaker stereo tuned by Bangs & Olufsen.
The safety department is stacked with goodies such as automated emergency braking (w/forward-collision warning), blind-spot monitoring (w/rear cross-traffic alert), and a 360-degree camera.
Exterior and Driving
The Mustang Mach-E Premium lives up to its name and looks very posh and futuristic on the outside. It has stylish 19-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels, a panoramic glass roof, and LED lighting. You also get a powered tailgate for easier un/loading.
The following are the colors available on the 2023 Mach-E Premium:
- Shadow Black
- Grabber Blue Metallic
- Vapor Blue Metallic
- Carbonized Gray Metallic
- Ceramic Pearl Metallic
- Pristine White Metallic
- Flight Blue Metallic
- Asher Gray Metallic
The Mustang Mach-E should be a beast of a vehicle to drive – it is a Mustang after all. The powertrain provides instant power delivery and the driving dynamics are pretty cool.
Reliability and Warranty
The reviews from the Mach-E’s consumers are positive when it comes to dependability. You get a limited warranty of 3 years/36k miles, a powertrain warranty of 5 years/60k miles, and an electric components warranty good for 8 years/100k miles.
Verdict
The 2023 Mach-E Premium is a one-of-a-kind crossover vehicle for several reasons. It is electric, powerful, quick, efficient, luxurious, reliable, and a bang for your buck. It also drives better than its competition and there’s a cool factor associated with it.
