Ford Blue Advantage Criteria

Not every Salt Lake City pre-owned Ford vehicle will qualify to be a Ford Blue Advantage vehicle. The program offers two levels: Gold Certified and Blue Certified. Here’s the criteria that must be met in order for a car to make it into the Ford Blue Advantage program:

• Model Year: To be a Ford Blue Advantage Gold Certified car, it must be under six years old. Blue Certified cars can be up to ten years old.
• Miles: For Gold Certification, the Ford needs to be under 80,000 miles, while Blue Certification requires the car to be under 120,000 miles.
• Vehicle History Report: Each car comes with a clean CARFAX® vehicle history report.
• Inspection: A Blue Certified car must pass a 139-point inspection, while a Gold Certified Ford needs to pass a 172-point inspection.
